Verge Studio was an absolute dream as our Wedding Photographers! Our style has always been a little out of the ordinary and our Wedding was no different with a dark 1920’s vibe.
Kate was up for all of it, even a visit to our favourite underground bar for that vintage speakeasy feel, which matched the Bride’s 1920’s inspired black-sequined Wedding dress. Kate put us at ease to be ourselves, capturing everything we asked for and more.
Her photographs transported us to another time and place and we couldn’t adore them more!

My wife and I cannot recommend Verge Studio highly enough. Kate from Verge Studio has been our photographer through a number of key life events and has produced beautiful photos for us every time.
Kate has completed stunning pre-natal photos of my wife on two occasions. As my wife is a horse rider and has had a love of horses her whole life, Kate completed beautiful photos of my wife with her favourite horse. Kate is a horse rider herself, so she has a good understanding of the horses actions which allowed her to get the best still and action shots.
Secondly my wife had her ‘baby bump’ photos taken at the beach at sunset which produced some everlasting shots. Kate was able to make good use of the sunset light and the tricky situation of crashing waves and nearby beach goers not spoiling the background.
Kate photographed our newborn baby. She arrived prepared with lots of ideas, props and was extremely patient for what I am sure you all realise is a tricky and time consuming process to get the very best of newborn photos.
Lastly, we were blessed to have Kate photograph our wedding who once again captured the joy and happiness my wife and I had on that day.
Overall Kate’s service is exceptional, very friendly, full of ideas and very compassionate in her dedication of services for her clients.

I had thought about having a Boudoir photo shoot for quite some 
time. I was fast approaching my 60th Birthday and felt that capturing the more mature essence of my sensual side would be an interesting experience.
However, I wanted that experience to be fun, non-confronting and liberating. So more than anything I needed to have an immense amount of trust in my photographer.
This is where Kate at Verge Studio stepped in ….. she immediately put my mind at ease, suggesting using my home for the shoot to enhance my sense of well-being. Kate never felt intrusive or made me feel uncomfortable at any time, she brought the minimum amount of lighting and equipment ….she also suggested a glass of bubbles to make me feel even more relaxed and uninhibited.
The photo shoot was so enjoyable, Kate made suggestions for good shots, but also allowed me to be myself enough so that if I offered any suggestions of my own then she was more than happy to accommodate them.
I really cannot recommend Kate at Verge Studio highly enough. The end product was more than I had hoped for, I was absolutely delighted with my photos, as was my partner!

The anticipation of having a boudoir shoot felt like one of the most confronting things I felt I could do as I felt so vulnerable. When I first contacted Kate she asked me what style of photos I wanted, whether I wanted studio or location, and then provided me with so many ideas we could both work with. I was later contacted with a list of ideas on what to bring to really personalise the photo shoot. Kate has a team of women that work with her and all are so genuine, this is more than just a job for them. I wasn’t rushed and Kate gave me the freedom to make it my photo shoot.
Kate is making it her mission to empower women, and genuinely cares about her clients. I didn’t know what to expect when I got my photos back, and I think a lot of women can relate when I say we are the worst critics when it comes to our womanly features. I did a bridal boudoir shoot with Kate & Laura back in January.
They’re both very professional and they made me feel super comfortable. Kate talked me through all the poses, and Laura (bless her cotton socks) was constantly fixing my hair and lingerie straps throughout the shoot. They made sure to get all the right angles, we went through lots of poses, which felt like a workout but it was really fun and SO worth it once I saw the photos and at the end of it all I had a beautiful album to gift to my Husband on the morning after our wedding.
He absolutely loves it!

I first would like to thank you for Saturday, you were all absolute legends. You were so patient and helpful. Josh and myself were amazed and so grateful.
I first met Verge Studio at a bridal expo. They just popped out from the very beginning. I loved the products they offered & compared to a few of the other photographers we met they were so full of energy & passion. It reflected in their photos & I knew there was no one else.
The pre photoshoot was wonderful! It gave us an idea of what to expect on the day, it got us familiar with The Team & we got some AMAZING photos out of it too !
On The Day: Kate was so relaxed & helped calm me when I got a bit frantic about the time. Once we got to the venue & met up with the others it was like a well-oiled machine, during the ceremony & reception they were like photo ninjas. The family photos went smoothly with organising groups & (their) energy was incredible.
I remember one photo where Josh & I were facing each other & Josh kept laughing because in the 39-degree weather Megan was throwing my veil in the air & running away to get the perfect shot. At one point I saw her sprinting from one end of the ground to the other for water, at this point I could hardly walk in my heels anymore!
I honestly don’t know how they kept it up all day, it was admirable!
